The Down to Earth Wild Cup is a community-led charity football tournament in Derby, built around 3 pillars; Football, Community & Nature.
Delivered in partnership with Down to Earth headed up by Jamie Quince-Starkey, the inaugural event brought together local teams, brands and creatives for a 7-a-side tournament centred on connection, wellbeing and shared purpose.
From match play through to the afterparty at Electric Daisy, the day was designed as an experiential activation, combining sport, storytelling and community to drive meaningful engagement, while raising funds for Bridge the Gap, who support children, families and schools with emotional literacy and early intervention for children’s emotional wellbeing.
Locate Productions supported the delivery of the event on the ground, ensuring everything ran smoothly across teams, timings and logistics, while capturing the energy and atmosphere throughout.
All amplified through content capture for social channels, extending the reach of the event beyond those on the pitch and into wider digital audiences with the view to a bigger and better event in 2027.
