Job Overview
The Production Manager role is multi-skilled, multi-faceted and will require an expert in organisation and communication. As someone with good experience in production, as well as a working knowledge of location management processes, you’ll be involved day-to-day with incoming briefs from new and existing clients, while supporting the team in winning new projects and servicing them through all stages of the production process. You’ll play a crucial role in executing processes to align with our company principles, ensuring we continuously measure, review and improve as a company. The role will also support our marketing and communications department; contributing to key industry and sustainability events, as well as our social media output.
Responsibilities. To provide ongoing support to the Production and Location departments with:

Fielding incoming briefs from clients via phone and email; often acting as first point of contact within the company.

Creating pitching decks, estimates, call sheets, schedules, contracts and invoices.

Checking availability & briefing of crew & suppliers, organising hotels, coordinating travel and production equipment.

Researching and checking availability of locations; organising scout/recce schedules and paperwork as needed.

Liaising with casting directors, briefing talent & extra agencies, assisting with the necessary release forms, contracts, child licenses, and talent correspondence and management. Management of talent licensing renewals.

Assisting producers & project managers with projects and carrying out AdGreen carbon calculations.

Tracking of crew training, client activity, pending/live jobs and diversity metrics.

Managing the flow of obtaining portfolio work and final assets through to communicating these digitally/socially.

Assisting communications manager with the organisation of industry events and sustainability initiatives.

Wider contribution to ongoing sustainability research and social media post creation and scheduling.
Skills and Experience

Demonstrable understanding and experience of commercial photography & moving image production; from pre-production through to production.

Exposure to and experience of quoting and/or budget management.

Highly organised with excellent written/verbal communication skills. Ability to liaise professionally and confidently to clients, crew, photographers, directors, suppliers and staff.

A sharp eye for detail and quality control.

The ability to work across numerous projects simultaneously.

Creative problem solver with flexible approach and ability to work in a fast paced, high pressure environment.

A desire to be an important part of a close knit, hard working team while able to work proactively and independently.

Passion and keen interest in sustainability and sustainable production practices.

Proficiency and confidence working across a standard suite of office software; e.g. spreadsheets, keynote/powerpoint. Experience using invoicing software such as Xero preferred, but training can be provided.
Salary, Benefits & Working Arrangements

£30,000-£35,000 depending on experience, plus a company-wide performance-related bonus

25 days of paid annual leave in addition to bank holidays. Plus an extra day off on your birthday, and the period between Christmas & New Year on a discretionary basis.

This is a full time role, likely to be split across our offices in Brighton and London as needed. Some flexibility with working arrangements and remote working can be discussed during the application process
