Rewilding Event with Forests Without Frontiers

We were delighted to support a second community planting day with Forests Without Frontiers at Wilderlands Farm Sussex. With an emphasis on education as well as planting, Huw Williams led a guided walk and spoke about the nature regeneration project at Wilderlands with Stephen Jones talking about the conservation of the forest.
Despite the less-than-ideal weather, over 40 passionate guests came together to plant native, locally-grown saplings, sourced by The Woodland Trust.
Guests were provided with a delicious lunch, of the finest Sussex produce sourced from a variety of local suppliers. This offered a chance for attendees to contemplate their experiences, exchange stories, and engage in conversations about their aspirations for a brighter future.
The day highlighted the collective responsibility we all share in preserving and restoring our natural habitats. Throughout the weeks events another 1,000 trees were successfully planted.
